Who am I?  

I am Jason, the founder of Filipiñero, 2019, a project born from my earlier work in Hispano‑Filipino heritage, which I began in 2016. Over time, my journey has expanded: in 2023, I established Havock Studios; in 2025, I published my first indie game; and I am now developing my second IP while balancing engineering coursework and competitive sprint training. As an educator, I strive to bring accessibility into every technical and creative pursuit.

Filipiñero reflects the multi-layered heritage of the Philippines. What started as a blog about heritage has grown into a chronicle of my broader journey: sprinting toward new goals, building immersive games, tackling engineering coursework, and reflecting on my professional journey as a teacher.

Through Filipiñero, I share not only cultural insights but also the lessons I learn along the way - from the track, the classroom, and the design studio. It is a space to celebrate growth, curiosity, and the diverse roots that continue to inspire me.
